Hello! I am Ellie, a first year PhD student researching Plant Sciences. My art combines my passion for nature with my interest in the darker side of life. I am particularly inspired by autumn and Halloween, due to the beauty of this transitional time of year. Additionally, my struggles with mental health influence my pieces, and art has been indispensable in helping me manage these.
Since I still feel as if I am at the start of my artistic journey, I hope to develop my pieces in new directions, improve my techniques and explore these themes in as many dimensions and mediums as possible.
