The sea inspires me to be a photographer, to be a member of the RNLI. From the calming nature of the waves lapping in on the shore, to how ferocious the sea can be! I could sit on a rock, watching the waves come in. To the soothing sounds the sea makes, to the smell of the ocean. It can leave me feeling calm or it can empower me to capture its raw beauty. I fear the ocean but I also respect the ocean and what it means to me.
This image focuses upon the RNLI Lifeboat Station in Mumbles, Swansea. Where during emergencies, life saving vessels accelerate down the ramp into the sea. In the background the sun sets over Swansea Bay.
